My name is Rachael Suffrin and I’m a graduate student at DePaul University. I am working with Nathan Todd, Ph.D., my faculty supervisor at DePaul, to conduct a research study exploring the factors that impact positive outcomes for adult mentors involved in youth mentoring programs. We would love to have the mentors in your program participate in this research project which involves filling out a few questions about mentors and their mentoring organization, which will take about 30 minutes of their time. The information and responses to the survey will be kept confidential. Mentors’ participation in this project is completely voluntary, and mentors may choose to withdraw their participation at anytime. Please feel free to contact me and I can send you information to easily forward to the mentors in your program. If you are not the best contact person to forward the materials, feel free to forward or send me the best contact person’s information. The link below will allow you to access the survey, or to gain more information about the research project. You are also welcome to contact me or the study researchers at any time to answer any questions. HI DIVA! Program, This mentoring program has taught my daughters to have self confidence, and respect for themselves and others. Since being in the program my daughters have really made a big change in how they interact with each other as well as other siblings, they are more helpful at home. They are really ambitious about helping others while contributing time to community service. Seeing the joy and energy it brings to my daughters to be able to make a difference is priceless. Without a doubt I’m very glad that I involved my daughters in the HI DIVA Program the TRUE SISTERHOOD.

I highly recommend the HI-DIVA! program to any one who has a daughter, because this program has truly taught my daughter's so much. I have saw a big change in my girls academic wise and how they are more responsible at home. I love how the girls get together in there meetings and show so much compassion for one another. If there is something going on with them now we have a open door policy where we can talk about anything now, and before my girls got in the program we didn't talk about anything. This program is great for teens from all walks of life. Mrs.Diva is a wonderful mentor who has taught these girls so much pose and understanding and social skills that they will need in the years to come. I'm elated to have had the opportunity for my girls to be in the HI-DIVA! program, so that they can be confident, feel empowered and to always be inspired. I highly stand by this group and will support these girls in anyway that I can. I hope looking back at HI-DIVA! the girls will feel beautiful, confident, and unapologetic for who they are.
